What Racharia does

Racharia keeps the list of who has paid into a group collection. Each participant pays through PayPal and the money goes straight to the organiser's PayPal account. The organiser pays a flat fee per event. Racharia never holds anyone's money.

Who it is for

Informal groups of people: friends, family, colleagues, amateur teams. Businesses can't use Racharia to charge customers, and landlords or building managers can't use it to charge tenants.

Open list

Anyone with the link sees the names (first and last name) and whether each person has paid. We do not show debts or late payments. Any participant can ask the organiser to be removed from the list.

Forbidden uses

Raffles, lotteries, betting, sweepstakes, loans, pyramid schemes, public charity collections and donation requests to strangers. Collections like these are blocked.

PayPal

Payments are processed by PayPal under PayPal's own terms. PayPal's usual fees are taken from what the organiser receives. Refunds and disputes go through PayPal. If a payment is refunded, the name goes back to "not paid".

Responsibilities

The organiser is responsible for the event, for how the money is used and for any refunds. The activation fee is not refundable once the event is activated. Disagreements about payments are settled between participants and the organiser.

Reports

Use the "Report" link on the event page. We review reports and may block events that break these terms.
